Materials Engineering Limited has three sections, all working closely together to serve the needs of a wide client base. These sections are Materials Testing Services, Materials Engineering Services and Welding Services.
The quality systems meet the approval of UKAS in addition to ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005.
All of the departments are assisted in their projects by a fully equipped workshop that is able to cater for work both large and small.
The laboratories have a wide range of test equipment, which can provide a range of services. There are three main sections within the material testing department; Mechanical Testing, Chemical & Corrosion Analysis and Fracture Mechanics.
Welding engineering services are provided to some of the larger international oil/gas companies, the local companies that support them and any other industry involved in the welding and joining of materials. Our services include welding consultancy, weld procedure specification writing/qualification, welder testing and maintaining a database of such information.
